Step 1: Gather all laundry together and put it into the laundry room. The quickest way to get laundry done is by separating it into piles. Start your laundry first while cleaning the rest of the house.
Step 2: The key to cleaning a house faster is getting as many people to help you out. Designate an area of the house for every family member that is available, better yet designate a specific cleaning task.
Step 3: Get all your cleaning products ready to go. Know exactly what you’re going to clean and which product you will be using. It might sound a bit extreme to plan ahead for house cleaning, but in the long run, it works out quite well.
Step 4: Vacuum every room you intend to clean. That way one part of the cleaning is already finished. Put the vacuum away and begin the next task.
Step 5: Fill your mop bucket up with water and mop all the floors. Once finished, empty out the bucket and put away until the next time it is needed.
Step 6: Grab a clean rag and begin dusting whatever needs to be dusted. This part is usually the most time-consuming. If you do it all at one time you will see that it takes much less time than going back and forth from one thing to another.
Step 7: Take out a trash bag and empty out all trash bins in the house. This should take you no more than a few minutes. Take the trash bag outside and dispose of it as you would any other trash bag.
Step 8: Wash and dry all dishes that are in the sink. If you have a dishwasher, load the dishwasher at the same time you load the washing machine. Put dishes away and wipe down counters.
Step 9: Last but not least, remember to open windows and doors while cleaning to allow fresh air in. Now sit down, relax, and enjoy your nice clean house.
